Duesseldorf, the regional capital of Nordrhein-Westfalen, presented itself in its third time professional as usual!
The assurance of the 200,000 viewers was very important for the organizers. Because of that  200 meters of concrete safety fences and 2,5 kilometers of grate walled the 860 meter long mini-track near the very famous shopping lane in Duesseldorf.

In order to give foretaste to the starting season next Sunday in Hockenheim, all of the 19 drivers showed demonstrations in lapping and pitstopping and had autograph sessions.

Beside our DTM-bolids from Mercedes-Benz and Audi lots of race cars of the Formular-3-Euroseries, ADAC Volkswagen Polo Cup, Porsche Carrera Cup and Seat Leon Supercopa were presented.

This are all amazing race car series! It did make a lot of fun signing autographs. In comparison with the Formular-1 one is always insulated from the fans and it is nearly impossible to get in touch with them. Being among the fans was very impressing for me. Even the collaboration with the Mercedes-Team and the other drivers is really great and it makes a lot of fun!



Next week my first race within the DTM will take place! I cannot wait for it!

To get into it and believing it would be an easy run would be very fatal at all. The first tests let me come to know hurtful that there is a lot of work to do for me.

I will run against drivers who have much more experience in the DTM than I do. It won’t be easy for me.

Starting the first time without killing the engine would be a great pleasure for me.
Then we’ll see.
